We continued our own celebration of Labor Day today by visiting the Biltmore Estate. They have an awesome display of fall colors on the South Terrace, which they have aptly named, The Flower Carpet. If you've never been, now is the time to visit. The colors were striking in their patchwork theme. Take a look at some of the photos that we snapped with our little point and shoot camera! It's hard to believe that just a couple of weeks ago, we were sitting on the same terrace enjoying a Beach Boys concert with our family!
I have studied under several master photographers that have shared their vast expert knowledge of photographic principles and experience with me. Through their instruction I have been able to develop my own photographic expertise and creative style. Perhaps the most influencial photgrapher in my journey was Erich Allen, who later became one of my best friends. I'm not exactly sure why Erich took an interest in helping me develop my photographic skills, and for that I will be forever grateful!
