Nichole and Troy - Champagne Cellar

Nichole and Troy came all the way from Seattle, Washington to get married at the Champagne Cellar, located in the Biltmore Estate Winery on December 5, 2008. This is a couple who has traveled and seen so many places of the world that most people just dream about. We were so honored that they would choose us to be a part of their special day.

To make a long story short, they found our website on the Internet and were hooked once they saw some of the awesome images of other happy couples that we have had the privilege to take. We corresponded via email a couple of times and finally got the chance to meet with them in November, just a couple of weeks before the wedding. The wedding and reception was scheduled to be a small, family affair located in the Champagne Cellar.

On the morning of the ceremony, we showed up at the Inn on the Biltmore Estate ready to rock and roll. Troy and all the guys were relaxing on the back patio while Nichole and the ladies were upstairs getting ready. Because of the time constraints we didn't want to miss any photo opportunities, so once everyone was ready, we took Nichole and headed to the main house where we took some shots until the rest of the group showed up. The weather just happened to have turned cold that weekend, but Nichole was a real trooper and just knew that no matter how cold it got, in the end, the photos would be well worth it. And personally, I think that she was right!

Once we got done taking the shots at the main house, it was time for the wedding. Again, it was a simple, intimate affair with only close family members in attendance. The Champagne Cellar was beautifully lite with candles galore and rose petals lined the aisle that would take Nichole to Troy. What a romantic scene!

Once the ceremony was over and the reception was underway, we stole the happy couple away from the group for a few more photos. Well, let me ask you this...Can you tell that this couple is in love? We sure can! We had a blast working with these two and wish them all the happiness in the world. We hope that they continue their globe trotting and invite us back for their 25th anniversary! We would love to hear where they wind up going next and where that party will be.
